Frequently Asked Questions
How does Relinq detect music links?
Relinq locally checks clipboard text for supported music URLs. If link previews are enabled, the detected music URL is sent to Relinq's matching service to load the preview; otherwise it is sent only when you convert it.
Is my clipboard data private?
Yes. Relinq checks clipboard text locally for supported music links. Unrelated clipboard text is discarded and never sent. Only a supported music URL is sent to Relinq's matching service when you preview or convert it.
What happens after 5 free conversions?
After using your 5 free conversions, you can purchase a non-expiring $29 license for unlimited personal conversions, subject to reasonable service controls. There are no subscriptions or recurring fees.
How many devices can I use with a Relinq license?
New Relinq license keys can be activated on up to 5 personal devices at a time. Previously issued keys retain the activation limit originally assigned to them.
Does it work with albums and playlists?
Relinq supports songs and albums across all six services when a match is available. Artist pages and user-created playlists aren't supported.
What is a Universal Link?
Relinq can convert your music service URLs into a Universal Link—a SongLink URL that opens a page with the services available for that recording. It's great if you want to share a link with a friend but aren't sure what service they use.
Can Relinq detect links from any music service?
Yes! Relinq can be configured to detect links from your preferred music service only or any supported one.
