Relinq is a Metedata product.

By using Relinq, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Free Trial

Relinq includes five successful conversions free. A preview, failed match, unavailable destination, or retry of the same completed request does not intentionally consume another conversion. The trial is attached to a pseudonymous installation record and is not an account-based promise of five conversions for every reinstall or newly created installation identity.

Lifetime License

A one-time purchase grants a non-expiring Relinq license for unlimited personal conversions, subject to these terms. Relinq's listed price for new customers is $29 USD; Lemon Squeezy shows the final amount and applicable tax treatment at checkout. There is no recurring subscription fee.

All valid Relinq lifetime licenses purchased before these terms took effect remain valid under their original purchase terms, including the activation limit assigned to each key. Existing customers do not need to buy Relinq again.

“Unlimited” means there is no fixed lifetime conversion quota for ordinary personal use. It does not exempt requests from per-minute, daily, cold-lookup, security, or shared service-capacity controls, and it is not a guarantee that Relinq, a particular macOS version, a streaming platform, or a third-party matching service will remain available forever.

New license keys issued for purchases under these terms may be activated on up to five devices personally used by the purchaser at a time, and each device must have a separate valid Lemon Squeezy activation instance. Previously issued keys retain the activation limit originally assigned to each key. Reinstalling or replacing Relinq on one device may rebind that device's instance without invalidating the purchaser's other distinct valid instances. This multi-device permission does not make the license transferable.

The license is non-transferable and for personal use only. Commercial use requires a separate license agreement.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Relinq only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except to the extent applicable law expressly permits it
  • Redistribute or resell the software
  • Use the software in any way that violates applicable laws
  • Reset, replace, automate, or fabricate installation identities to obtain additional free trials
  • Attempt to bypass license, rate, security, or service-capacity controls
  • Share, sell, or transfer a license key or service access token to another person
  • Use Relinq's service for automated bulk lookup, scraping, or resale

Rate and Capacity Controls

Relinq applies per-installation, per-entitlement, per-network, and global controls to protect the service and stay within third-party limits. These controls can temporarily delay or reject authentication, preview, or conversion requests even for a lifetime license. Cached matches may remain available when uncached matching is at capacity. We may adjust controls to respond to abuse, outages, vendor limits, or reasonable operating constraints, but will not use them as a hidden fixed lifetime conversion quota.

Third-Party Services

Relinq relies on Cloudflare for hosting and security, SongLink/Odesli for uncached music matching, Lemon Squeezy for purchases and license administration, and the streaming platforms represented by converted links. Your use of SongLink/Odesli-backed matching is also subject to Odesli's Terms of Service. Purchases through Lemon Squeezy are also subject to Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms.

We do not control third-party catalogs, APIs, policies, regional availability, activation systems, or uptime. A platform may remove or change a URL, a recording may be unavailable in a country, and an automated match may be incomplete or incorrect.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Relinq is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app or matching service will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every future macOS release, or that converted links will always be available or accurate.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Relinq.

Refunds

Purchases are made from Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy processes payments, applicable taxes, refunds, and payment disputes under its Buyer Terms, which state that refunds are discretionary and handled case by case. Relinq support may help with a request; contact [email protected] if you experience an issue with your purchase.

Under the current service logic, a full refund terminates the associated lifetime entitlement, revokes its device access tokens, and blocks automatic restoration of that refunded order. A partial refund alone does not automatically revoke access. A license that Lemon Squeezy reports as inactive, disabled, or expired also disables the entitlement and revokes its tokens. If Lemon Squeezy later restores that license to active status, access requires a new successful validation; previously revoked tokens do not reactivate.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or revoke service access tied to fraud, a refund or chargeback, an invalid or disabled license, material abuse of the service, or a material breach of these terms. Ending access does not limit any rights that applicable law does not allow these terms to exclude.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated date will appear below, and we will provide any additional notice required by applicable law. Continued use of Relinq after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance of them.
