Relinq support

The iPhone guidance below covers current TestFlight builds. Public App Store availability will be announced separately.

Convert a link on iPhone

Open Share for a song or album in a supported music app or Safari.
Choose Relinq. If it is not visible, use More in the share sheet to find and enable it.
Choose an available destination. Relinq copies the converted link. Tap Share to send it to another app, or X to dismiss the result.

The first time you open Relinq, follow the introduction to choose your preferred music service or Choose each time. The optional Instant Crush practice uses preloaded results, so it does not use a free conversion or appear in history. You can revisit the guide in Settings → How Relinq works.

Settings also lets you change your destination and music catalog region. If you saved a preference, the share extension uses it automatically when a match is available. Choices made in the share sheet apply to that conversion.

You can also open Relinq, paste or enter a URL in the Music link field, then tap Convert. Paste fills the field; Convert starts the conversion. Song details can appear while Relinq converts the link; their timing depends on what the sharing app provides and the music service's response.

Supported music and missing matches

Relinq supports public song and album links for Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Tidal, SoundCloud, and Yandex Music when a matching item is available. Artist pages and user-created playlists are not supported. Some shortened links require a direct song or album link instead.

An internet connection is required. Catalogs vary by country and service. If your preferred destination has no match, choose one of the alternatives Relinq actually offers. A missing match does not use a free conversion. Relinq converts links; it does not play or download music.

Five free conversions, then monthly or yearly

The iPhone app includes five successful new destination conversions in total. Previews, unsuccessful matches and copying a saved result under Recent links do not count. The allowance does not reset monthly or yearly.

Relinq Unlimited offers the same unlimited conversions with either a yearly or monthly subscription. The U.S. base prices are $19.99 per year and $2.99 per month. Check the full price and billing period shown in the app and Apple's confirmation sheet before subscribing; prices vary by region. These iOS subscriptions are separate from a Relinq Mac license.

If your allowance runs out while sharing, the song and selected destination are saved. Close the share extension and open Relinq. The saved-song subscription sheet opens; if it is not already open, choose the song under Ready to continue. Subscribe or restore active access, then tap Continue conversion. Reinstalling does not reset an existing trial.

Manage or cancel a subscription

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Open Relinq and go to Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription, or use the Subscriptions page in your Apple Account settings, to manage your plan or cancel. Cancelling renewal keeps access through the current paid period. Once access expires, open Relinq and choose a plan to continue.

Restore Purchases and Family Sharing

To restore existing access, open Relinq, go to Settings → Subscription, and select Restore Purchases. Use the Apple Account associated with the subscription. Restore checks current access; it does not renew an expired subscription.

If Apple confirmed a purchase but Relinq could not enable access, choose Settings → Subscription → Finish enabling access, then Try Again. Keep an internet connection while Relinq retries the confirmed purchase; this does not start another purchase. Restore Purchases is hidden while that activation is pending. Once access is ready, tap Continue conversion for a saved song, or Done.

Both plans are configured to support eligible Family Sharing. Set up an Apple family and enable Share with Family for the subscription. Eligible family members may need to select Restore Purchases in Relinq.

Refunds, subscription expiration, or changes to family access can remove access. For setup, see Apple's subscription sharing help.

Clipboard permission

On iOS, automatic clipboard checks are optional and happen when Relinq opens. You can change this in Settings → Check clipboard on opening. iOS may ask for paste permission. Paste and the share sheet are available when automatic checks are off.

Relinq checks text locally for supported music URLs. Only the supported link is used for online matching or source metadata, not unrelated clipboard text. The privacy policy explains direct metadata requests to Spotify, Apple, YouTube and SoundCloud, artwork and short-link requests, local history, and subscription records.

Settings → Send feedback opens an editable email draft with your app/build, iOS version and generic device model. You choose what to write and whether to send it.

Email [email protected] with your device model, OS and Relinq version, what you expected, and what happened. If useful, include a public music link and the destination you selected. You can redact screenshots before sending them. Never include an Apple Account password, API access token, refresh token, or full signed purchase data.
